Amenities

Briarwood Dental Spa offers many amenities to patients including a refreshment center, spa music and decor, aromatherapy, and i-pods or movies to enhance the dental experience. Patients are encouraged and invited to utilize a relaxation suite, including massage chairs that reduce stress and anxiety before and after treatment. The goal of Briarwood Dental Spa is to offer complete patient comfort in addition to exceptional dentistry.

 

Dr. Blass prides herself on providing a virtually pain free dental experience during all of her treatments. She applies local anesthetic only after "numbing" the site first with a gel that shields all sensations of the anesthetic being applied. She always waits for a good "take" of the anesthetic before proceeding.

In addition, we have many amenities to distract and divert your attention during your treatment.

Medical Relaxation

Upon your request, we also use nitrous oxide and oral medications if you are nervous or fearful about your treatment. These analgesics are the mildest form of medical sedation. They help with the fear and fatigue sometimes experienced during longer appointments. They are very safe and allow you to have the type of experience where you can simply relax. You will remember your appointment, but only vaguely.
